Executive Coach and HR Adviser focused on start-up and growth companies, working closely with leaders and investors as they engage with the challenges and opportunities of scaling teams and organisations.

About

Chris has spent over 1,000 hours in sessions with clients across leadership coaching, counselling and mentoring alongside his work as a strategic adviser to management teams and investors. In his work, he blends business acumen, psychological insight and a broad coaching toolkit to support and enable the development of his clients.

Background: Chris spent fifteen years in HR roles, initially for the NHS before moving into the start-up world where he built HR functions and leadership teams at high-growth businesses. This included five years as VP People at Depop, helping grow the team from 40 to 500, from early-stage funding to a unicorn exit in 2021. Alongside his career, Chris trained as an executive coach (AOEC practitioner diploma 2017) and also began practising as a counsellor (BACP accredited PgDip) from 2014, having previously volunteered extensively in mental health and mentoring.
